Join Tamsin Ogilvie next Friday, May 10 at 17:00 with your Y3-Y6 children (8-11 yrs old) for an interactive workshop to discuss refugee crises through illustration and story telling.
Tamsin Ogilvie is a graphic designer who is working on preliminary PhD research into comic narratives. Having worked and studied internationally for many years, she has experienced first hand the empathy that is generated through creating art across communities. Harnessing the approach developed by Positive Negatives, a not-for-profit organisation that uses comic narrative to influence migration policy change, Tamsin has developed a workshop suitable for children that works with each child’s own instinctive reaction to visual narrative.
We would like to ask for £5 donation per child at the event towards Medicine Sans Frontiers
