We’re so happy to have a beautiful and growing community of international families. So, as the International Children’s Day (1st June) is approaching, we’d like to mark this day and celebrate it at the club with you. Another chance to meet, chat and have fun!
We’d like to invite you all to pop in on Wednesday, 1st June for a free fantastic face painting and a balloon!
Evelyn has prepared some new face painting ideas for this day and she’ll be painting from 11:30 to 13:30.
So, don’t miss this colourful day! Pop in and get your face painted! Everybody can ask for a photo and receive a framed memory from us via email!!
A few words about the origin and history of the International Day of Children
The International Children's Day is celebrated by many countries on the first day of June, every year. It was first proclaimed by the World Conference for the Well-being of Children in Geneva, Switzerland, in 1925 and started to be celebrated every year since 1950.
Each year, special conferences on children’s rights and well-being are held to honour the children and mark this day.
