Add some colour to your break with this Contemporary Arts Workshop with Ema on Friday, 8th April!
This is not an ordinary workshop. It is inspired by the current Betty Woodman exhibition at The Institute of Contemporary Arts. Woodman is one of the most important contemporary artists working with ceramics today. That’s why we decided we shouldn’t miss this opportunity to introduce her work to the kids.
The workshop is a 2 hours meeting, 11:00 – 13:00, focusing on painting and sculpture techniques. This is a golden opportunity for kids to discover contemporary arts. They will use clay and paints to explore the relationship between painting and sculpture. Also they will be given the chance to playfully interpret Betty Woodman's sculptural ceramics and paintings.
We recommend that you go and visit Betty Woodman’s show at the ICA before or after the workshop along with your kid. Also, you can discover more about Betty Woodman on our dedicated Pinterest board.
