For the art classes on Monday (15:15) and Tuesday (10:15):
Next class children will learn about the printmaking, drawings and sculptures of the contemporary artist Richard Tuttle. They will create their own colourful prints and mixed media sculptures inspired by his artworks, that have a unique child-like freedom! For a lot more info on the artist, check our Pinterest board: http://www.pinterest.com/3houseclub/teaching-richard-tuttle/
For the Illustration class on Monday:(16:15):
Next class children will find out about a children’s book story and illustrations created using collage techniques. They will start creating their own story with pictures by first inventing their own character! A small paper puppet will be created with pencils, scissors, paint and glue. They will then have fun inventing a personality for their tiny character, surrounding it by as many descriptive adjectives as they can think of!
