  • Early bird 20% OFF new Ballet & Modern/TAP classes with Maida Vale Ballet School (classes start April 23 - book by the end of February to get 20% off):
  • 9:00-9:45 Ballet. Primary level is structured much more like a grown up ballet class with steps that increase in speed and elevation and a dance to be performed at the end. The children learn the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus in small chunks, building up to a class performance exam. Age 4.5-6

9:45-10:30 Modern/Tap Dance. Modern Jazz develops many different movements to a broad choice of rhythms and musical styles. Classes are structured to begin to prepare the physical strength and flexibility required to demonstrate emotion through interpretation exploring contrast between expansion and relaxation, fluidity and isolation. Tap a great way to increase fitness, fast footwork and musicality. Age 4.5-6

Miss Alex will prepare the children for a show once a year in a local theatre as well as for the formal examination for those who are interested. Each class is £120 for ten classes or £180 for both classes. Save £36 by booking by the end of February (pay £144 for ten weeks of both classes instead of £180).
