Hampstead Christmas Festival on Sunday 23rd November

London families and visitors are looking forward to the annual Hampstead Christmas Festival on Sunday 23rd November in and around Hampstead High Street from midday to 4:45pm, when the spectacular Christmas lights in Hampstead Village will be switched on by Jonathan Ross, Barbara Windsor and Angel Blue.

This year we have lined up some incredible festive events, music and attractions including our first ever Dog Contest and Santa Paws Grotto! Our Big Music Stage has a top class line up throughout the afternoon and we’ll have Fire Eaters, Punch & Judy, Reindeers, Birds of Prey, a Petting Pen, a free screening of Arthur Christmas, Treasure Hunt, Fun Fair Rides, Food Stalls and much more. The Village’s boutique shops, international brands, cafes, restaurants and pubs will all be open for browsing, shopping, eating and drinking. Hampstead really is London’s original urban village.

Our charity this year is the Chickenshed Theatre Company and its students will be contributing to the entertainment throughout the day.

Hampstead Village is easy to get to, on the edge of central London and easily reached by tube, bus, car, overground and bicycle - or on foot. You can download a map of the Festival Hot Spots and attractions here or view our Festival Brochure here.
